The name Sonru stems from the Irish phrase “Bí le sonrú” which means to “stand out”. We want our Automated Video Interview too to stand out as an excellent interview tool and we want our users to stand out by using it to reduce costs, increase access to greater markets, reduce stress, reduce wasted time, increase profit margins and help improve our environment. In a nutshell, we believe we should be making better use of the internet to help people carry out business a lot more efficiently.
Sonru was founded by Edward Hendrick, an Irish entrepreneur who spotted an opportunity to save people money during the interview process. He believes Sonru will disrupt the established methodology of performing interviews. Sonru is his vision of how interviewing can be convenient and cost effective.
Sonru would not have come into being without the assistance and continued support of some important business partners. Ed and the team work hand in hand with Enterprise Ireland and TSSG.
