We (Sonru) have been trying to think of a catchy word for an automated video interview that can be a noun, a verb and its derivatives. It has been something of a pet project for our marketing manager, who believes that in order for something to become standard it must be defined and if we define it, and it takes then it'll become a standard word in the recruitment lexicon similar to CV. Automated interviews are completely new, there are only a handful of players in the market, few to speak of in Europe but we believe that automated video interviews will become the standard. Completing an automated video interview in the months and years to come will be as natural to us as hitting 'send' on that online application form or building our profiles on professional social networks such as LinkedIn. So what do you think of this?
