Donedeal.ie resign Sonru online video interview service
Donedeal.ie, Ireland’s biggest online classifieds space, today announced that it will again be using the Sonru online video interviewing tool as part of its search for talent. Read the press release for more information.

Commenting on the deal Sonru.com CEO, Fergal O’Byrne, added “This is a huge validation of our product. Founded in 2004 by Fred and Geraldine Karlsson, DoneDeal has steadily grown and today claims approx. 1.5 million visits per month, according to independent website metrics company, Ireland Metrix. On average, up to 15,000 items are advertised each month, with products ranging from art and antiques, right through to video games and vehicles. The site currently has approximately 23,000 adverts active on the website.
Sonru which is located at Enniscorthy Enterprise and Technology Centre in County Wexford, was established in 2007 by Edward Hendrick. Former CEO of the Irish Internet Association Fergal O’Byrne joined Sonru as CEO in late 2009. Sonru is an automated online video tool. It has applications within the Recruitment, Education, Training and CRM sectors. Sonru provide secure, shareable video interviews. The tool can be used anywhere that remote video can bring efficiencies to a business process. Sonru was listed as one of the world’s top 100 technology start-ups at the Innovate!100 Pitch Slam in Dublin and was overall winner of the Bank of Ireland Bright Ideas Challenge 2010.
