Johannesburg, 01 November 2011.  Sonru today announced the formal entry into South Africa via a Reseller agreement with Q-Core Consulting. Q-Core Consulting is a niche business consulting company of skilled creative specialists in the fields of business, process and strategic analysis. Sonru.com, headquartered in Ireland, has already seen its technology significantly streamline and improve the screening process for recruiters and hiring managers of blue chip companies in Europe, Canada and the MENA region and will now be available to Q-Core Consulting’s network of clients across Africa.

The automated video interviewing solution works by recruiters posting an interview online (specifying the time allowed to read and answer each question) and sending an email invitation to relevant candidates. Using a webcam, candidates answer the questions set, with recruiters then free to review the video responses at their convenience.
