Sonru attending Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco May 2010
Sonru is attending the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco in May this year.
Lucky old Ed is heading to San Francisco in May to attend the Web 2.0 Expo, he's travelling out with Enterprise Ireland and some other iGAP participants.
iGAP was developed by Enterprise Ireland and the Internet Growth Alliance and is aimed exclusively at high potential internet start-ups. Ed and Fergal have been attending sessions with the group for the past six months and have found it hugely beneficial. Maybe some day they'll write a blog post about their experience for us, in fact Ed can write it on his 12/13 hour flight.
The Expo looks pretty impressive, promising to have 75+ sessions, workshops, and intensives for designers, developers, entrepreneurs, marketers, business strategists, and investors, covering 10 topic areas: Business model strategies, Design and UX bext pratices, Social media success, Cutting edge development, The mobile tsunami, Performance challenges, Practical analytics, Real-time opportunities, Enterprise tools and Creating Community. The list of speakers reads like a who's who of serious Internet/tech businesses which include Skype, Bitcurrent, Facebook, Bit.ly and Adobe.
I'm sure it won't be all hard work and no play though, we wouldn't like Ed to come home a dull boy. Enjoy!
