Edward Hendrick, Founder & Director of Product Development of Sonru commenting on the award said ‘We're delighted to be recognised in Waterford where it all began for Sonru when I enrolled on the SEEPP programme in WIT in September 2007. We've come a long way since thanks to the help and support of Waterford Chamber, the South East BIC and all the connections we made both directly and indirectly through SEEPP. It's great to see such a prestigious brand as 3 aligning itself with the Waterford Chamber, such an innovative institution in the county and I'd like to thank Ian Blake of 3 for his support."'
3 Head of Business Sales, Ian Blake commented, “The 3 Business Awards 2010 have been a huge success with the well-deserved winners announced at the Annual Chamber Dinner last Friday. There were over 270 people in attendance with a great atmosphere in the room and sense of anticipation before revealing the winners. At 3, we were delighted to recognise and reward the business community in Waterford through the 3 Business Awards and it was great to have such a positive interest in the awards in these difficult economic times.”
Tom Murran, Chamber President, stated “We would like to thank 3 for their sponsorship of these highly successful awards. The awards were a marvellous part of the Chamber Dinner evening. Nobody knew in advance who the winners would be until they were announced and this added to the excitement on the night. All of the nine finalists were extremely worthy of their awards and the three category winners each received a unique piece of handmade cut glass from the newly formed Irish Handmade Glass company. The winning 3 awards were one-off pieces of beautiful hand sculpted glass which were shaped to form the 3 logo. Overall the evening was a great success and we would like to again congratulate the winners and thank 3 for their sponsorship of the Awards.”
