Good news, VMware is hiring! What's more interesting is how they're going about recruiting new blood. SlideRocket, their presentation software-as-a-service, is using video to encourage applicants to join the team with a  catchy infomercial showing SlideRocket staff talking about what it's like working for the company.

High quality video production, snappy / not too long and they all seemed like a genuinely nice bunch of people so I'm sure they'll have no trouble filling those vacancies. In fact I'm certain they'll be inundated with applications so it'll be interesting to see if their use of online video extends itself into the actual recruitment process by using something like Sonru's Automated Video Interview tool to screen applicants.
