NHS Leadership Academy wins Green Apple Award for use of Sonru

Sonru client, the NHS Leadership Academy, wins Green Apple Environmental Best Practice award for using video interviewing to connect aspiring CEOs with key stakeholders across the UK.

Competing against more than 500 other nominations in the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice, the NHS Leadership Academy will be presented with their trophy and certificate at a presentation ceremony in the Houses of Parliament, London on November 11. The award could also enable the NHS Leadership Academy progress to represent the UK in the Green World Awards and the European Business Awards for the Environment.

How the NHS Leadership Academy stood out with Sonru

The Aspiring Chief Executive programme is a collaboration between the NHS Leadership Academy, NHS Improvement and NHS Providers. Designed with national and international experts in health and organisational performance, the yearlong programme offers support and learning to individuals who aspire to be chief executives, supporting them to build their personal resilience, confidence and capability.

The project involved the adoption and use of Asynchronous Video interviewing which enabled both the applicants and multiple interviewers from all over the UK to complete the initial stage of the recruitment process without having to leave their desks.
