The results of the 2013 Recruiting Channels survey by Software Advice has recently been published here on The New Talent Times. The findings indicate that, while employee referrals and traditional job boards are still the top choices for recruiters, social media is a growing presence. However, since Sonru is in the business of helping clients select the best candidates to bring forward for interview, there was one finding that really caught our attention.
Although social media is ranked below job boards and employee referrals in terms of the volume of applications received, social media gets a higher ranking above job boards with respect to channels that deliver the highest quality candidates. Interesting indeed!
