The Human Resource section of ICTjournal featured an article about Penta’s usage of asynchronous video interviewing entitled “La genevoise Penta recrutera à distance en vidéo.” The article is in French but the highlights have been translated here.
From now on, cloud computing supplier Penta will manage its talent acquisition process with Sonru’s video interviewing solution.
Sonru’s video selection tool replaces first round phone and on-site interviews. The recruiters post interview questions online and then invite candidates to complete the asynchronous video interview in their own time from their computer or mobile device.
Penta can now interview candidates from a very geographically diverse base. It will also make the sourcing process quicker and more efficient – selecting skilled candidates without the need of thorough CV vetting and call interviews.
The Geneva-based company says it wants to use this solution later this year when filling new positions. Penta COO Hossein Fezzazi said Penta are committed to continuously improving their performance by deploying the latest technology, also internally. “The decision to opt for Sonru results from our company’s constant development and the need to select the best candidates across a very diverse geographical base.”
