What is Sonru?

Sonru is a really simple video interview tool based on the web. Sonru lets you interview lots of people really quickly and hassle free. It's easy to set up an interview and send it to interviewees, see how in the quick tour above.

What is Sonru used for?

Sonru is used for lots of different interviewing purposes, the most common being, 1st round job interviews and mock interview preparation. Sonru can also be used to conduct remote video surveys, to undertake product testing, to deploy remote usability testing of websites and a whole host more.

Shareable and secure video interviews

Sonru makes it very easy to share video interviews with colleagues securely. Any user that has been added to view a group of interviews can only access the interviews through username and password protected accounts. Their access can be removed at the drop of a hat if needs be. Videos can't be leaked onto other video sites.

Different, handier than video chat

Sonru is similar but very different to Video Conferencing and other "Skype" like services. Unlike other video services, the interviewer and interviewee do not need to be online at the same time, radically improving the convenience and time-saving elements of Sonru.

Mimics a live interview online

In an interview one person asks a question and the other must answer, Sonru mimics this environment online as questions are displayed and must be answered within the time limit provided. No second chances to answer questions; you can't do that in person so we don't allow that here. Interviewees complete a test interview beforehand so they are well used to the system before they start answering your questions.
